1. General Use
This website is owned and operated by Roots Tree Service, serving customers across Nova Scotia.

2. Estimates & Quotes
All quotes provided by Roots Tree Service are free and non-binding unless otherwise stated.
Prices are based on the information available at the time of the estimate and may be adjusted if:

Additional hazards or damage are discovered, or
Access conditions differ from what was initially described.
A written or digital approval from the client confirms acceptance of the quote and authorizes Roots Tree Service to proceed with the work.
3. Scheduling & Service Completion
We make every effort to complete work as scheduled. However, due to factors such as weather, equipment issues, or emergency jobs, dates may need to be adjusted. We will notify you promptly of any changes.
Roots Tree Service is not responsible for delays beyond our control.
4. Safety & Property Access
Safety is our top priority. Clients are responsible for ensuring clear access to the work area and notifying us of any hazards (such as hidden wires, septic tanks, or unstable ground).
During service, please keep children, pets, and vehicles away from the work zone for safety reasons.

Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept cash, cheque, e-transfer, or other approved payment methods.
Late payments may incur additional fees.
For large or multi-day projects, a deposit may be required before work begins.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Once services have been completed, payments are non-refundable except in cases of verified workmanship issues.
If you believe there is an issue with the service provided, please contact us within 7 days of completion. We’ll assess the concern and make things right where appropriate.
7. Liability & Damages
Roots Tree Service carries full liability insurance for property and personal injury.
While every precaution is taken to protect your property, Roots Tree Service is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or damages caused by factors beyond our control, such as:
Unstable trees or structures,
Weather conditions, or
Pre-existing underground utilities or surfaces not disclosed before work begins.
